That is awesome.


Walking on a leash or loose leash walking takes practice and is not something that is inherent with a dog (ask me how I know? I had to get training for my dog LOL).


I would also suggest you watch some of Victoria Stillwell videos on You Tube. She believes in positive training (high value treat for behaviors that we want).


Does you dog know how to sit on command? If he does I would start with that when he is pulling, stop put him in a sit and make him wait awarding this behavior with a treat.


Another thing my trainer said to try is when they pull turn and walk the other way, that will interrupt the dogs thought of where they were going. That never worked for me, whenever I turned Sophie Kate would sit down and so it turned into a whole battle of which way wins.


Remember good leash habits take practice and us being consistent.
