I have been buying them From bestbullysticks.com and they laid around the house forever.
My daughter in Seattle just got a rescue Great Dane Puppy, so for Christmas we got him a himalayan chew from a local pet store and sent it out. That package direction said to place it in the microwave for 45 seconds, then allow it to cool before giving it to the dog.
So, I put the ones here at my house in the microwave. They puffed up and when I gave them to the dogs they chewed them up in no time at all.
