There is a hip disorder called Leggs Calves Perthes - or avascular necrosis of the femoral head. It might just be what is going on with your boy, or of course Hip Dysplasia. The good news is, the toy breeds usually do well with hip surgery!


If it is either one, I would advise an orthopaedic surgeon to do the surgery.


And of course pre-op blood work.
