We use human grade disposable urinary pads from Sam's Club. (Not the pads in the pet department - these are over in the pharmacy area).
Comes in a pack of 120 pads for around $24.00 - comes to about .20 each.
They are about 23x36 inches.
One pack lasts about 4 months changing them daily.
Since my pup goes to work with me every day they are easy to take to work and dispose as needed or when we travel.
