The Sport of Showing Competively!


Too often we forget that it is a sport, and in the ring that moment that day, with how many others it is a Competition.


Please remember that there will almost always be those competitors that are quite frankly better than you at showing your dog.


We are owner/handlers, but that does not mean we have either the better dog, or able to show our better dog, better than some-one who might be just bang on that day with a dog that is bang on too!


Learn all you can in the ring this day. Watch Focus And remember every moment counts!


It took me many years to compete and have fun. Have fun first with you and your dog - you will be surprised at how easy then competing is!


Take the time to counsel, instruct, or simply be nice to a Newbie in the ring. Remember when you were that Newbie?


And finally when the ring is done, be gracious to winners and losers alike.
