It's hard when they are tiny and young. How old is Bentley?
ZoE just turned four a couple of weeks ago. I can read her mannerisms well by now, so know when she's starting to get uncomfortable and wants to go inside. It was 18F just now (-5F with windchill) so she just wanted a one loop run of the yard, a sniff of a few trees and then she was ready to go back inside.
