Holding him when he naps!!!! not a good idea, all dogs are creatures of habit. Once you start something you have to continue it, and that can be hard to break. What happens when you have to go out and he wants to sleep, will he cry the entire time you're gone? Just giving you a heads up, don't start what you may not be able to continue, these pups are just like human kids lol, ya gotta love these lil yorkies.
