Pupcakes
3 cups flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 cup butter, softened
6 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup corn oil
2 jars strained chicken baby food (for humans)
2 cups finely grated carrots
2 cups plain or vanilla yogurt (a thicker, Balkan-style yogurt is preferred)
2 or 3 strips bacon, fried crisp, then crumblerd, or beef jerky strips, cut into bits
Preheat oven to 350 degrees f and generously grease and flour 2 muffin pans. Combine flour and baking powder; set aside. In a mixing bowl, beat butter until smooth, then add eggs and corn oil; mix well. Add the chicked and carrots and mix until smooth, then add the flour mixture and mix thoroughly. Pour batter into the prepared muffin pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes before removing from the pans. Cool completely on wire racks. "Ice" each cupcake with yogurt. Sprinkle crumbled bacon or bits of jerky strips over top or use "Pupperoni" sticks in place of a candle.
