Does anyone else have this problem? I'm wondering if newspapers would be better! The disposable pads are so expensive so I thought I'd invest now in the reusable ones and keep them for a long time. But the smell bothers me.
Does anyone have any solutions or comments?
I'd appreciate your feed back!
We have a small house and the bathroom with the pads is right off the kitchen - not an avoidable place!

What I like to do is spray nature's miracle on the washable pads and in the washer. Fortunately for me, Dutch still uses them even after they have been sprayed. I use the nature's miracle before throwing them in the washer and a little sprinkle after they have been washed. I also spray the washer down thoroughly after they have been washed and I usually just let them air dry so I don't have to put them in the dryer. Since i have several washable pads, I put them in the diaper bin until I have enough to wash which I will also spray to help keep the ordor down. Works like a charm for me. And to make sure that I don't have nose blind, I ask my friends if they can smell anything and they can't. Hope this helps
