 killed by pitbulls...!
I took Bella to my backyard with my other 3 Yorkies as I do every morning. It was still really dark.... so when I heard growling and barking, I got my flashlight and found Bella dead, while the others Yorkies ran inside of my house. I yelled and I saw two pit-bulls run out of my backyard. I still cannot believe how the pits fit through a gap between my two wood gates. I called the police, the officer brought the neighbor , he apologized, but his dogs often are running thru trash cans from other neighbors, and killed a little dog that was lost in the neighborhood once. When animal control showed up, he did not surrender his dogs. He took them next day to SPCA.
This happened on Oct 9 around 6am. My heart still ache for her. Now every time its dark outside, I get so nervous to take my dogs to my own backyard. |
