I plan on cutting the umbilical cords myself to be safe. I have raised and whelped toy poodles in the past, but this is my first Yorkie litter and afraid for any chance of her chewing them too close and hurting the baby.

First litter....afraid I'm in for a long day! But very excited!
How many pups is she carrying? If she eats more than a couple, be prepared to clean old bloody vomit up from the pups area, before the babies get in it or momma eats it again.....! Keeping fingers crossed for you.....
