Our first choice was indeed a rescue dog, after nearly a year, we didn't found one, frustrating. We have regrouped and are now looking forward to having a pup. Perhaps one in need will come along when we least expect. Life has a way of throwing curve balls and surprising us just when we think we have it all figured out.
