This puppy is not even properly weaned....it does not even know HOW to pick up a mouthful of food, chew and swallow....it is still essentially sucking and starting to lick. Put the gruel you make up of RC puppy mousse mixed in with a little puppy formula to make it more liquid, on a flat lid so the baby can LICK this up. Progress to a less liquid state in a week or so, more pudding consistancy...by 7-8 weeks old, baby should be able to eat the mousse, which is a whipped consistancy and easily digested by immature puppies.....you can start with it on the end of your finger, letting baby lick it off. You REALLY need to be getting a puppy milk formula mixed in somewhere....or even just in a really shallow dish or lid, letting baby lap it up. Warm it up, test it on your wrist to make sure it isnt too hot. All my babies are getting a warm formula at night before bedtime, as well as several times during the day.
