The bath is probably the shortest part of the grooming routine. I absolutely swear by cutting his nails right after a bath, though, when they are soft and malleable. I will never go back to attempting to trim Blazer's nails when they aren't bath soft! The actual cutting part of his grooming takes a while, but I am usually done within an hour, depending on how shaggy he is and how much he cooperates (which is usually pretty well.)
