Royal Canin puppy mousse. Also serve the food more room temperature or even heated a little. Feed small tblsp amounts 4-5 times per day. Keep puppy out of drafts and very warm. You can even feed puppy holding the puppy onto your chest. A thick pudding type consistency for the food as at that age they are barely learning to chew! You can let the puppy nibble on your finger that you have dipped in their food.

Your puppy is still very much a baby! We don't even let large breed pups go at 5wks old!!!

Try carrying the puppy around with you in a sling like papoose. Your warmth and your heartbeat will be very comforting for the puppy!

When I bring young pups into my home, I sleep on an air mattress rright beside their crate. And these pups are much older than yours. This way I am right close by, and if necessary can cradle a stressed puppy at night.
