In my experience, temp can fluctuate a lot the last few days, and they can be restless for days ahead of whelping. Stay close to her as much as possible and get your whelping supplies ready. I also make sure I have veterinary help lined up in case of emergency and keep the phone numbers nearby, and I keep a big bag in which to carry everything to deliver pups in case I need to go to the vet hospital.
