I think it's terribly classless when free speech allows a movie producer to parody the assassination of any country's leader on screen but thank God for the freedom to do it. It's the hateful, awful, tasteless free speech such as this movie or to an even greater extent, that awful, hateful "church" group that spews out horrible, gruesome messages at our soldiers' funerals that we most stridently need to protect, since that's what those soldiers so bravely fought and died for. Course if it that were my son's funeral they showed up to protest at, I'd probably go for their throats! |
Just heard we have at least 2 theaters here in Seattle that will show the movie so the number of theaters is increasing across the nation. I may break down and watch it once it comes out on video, I had no interest in it before. $3 vs $40 for viewing and popcorn at home vs theater.
I cheered when that hateful group's leader died. What he and his followers do is sinful and they may as well be worshiping evil. I strongly applaud the actions of the motorcycle group that has acted as a barrier between the mourners and the toothless, hateful, minions.
