Sorry, I didn't read the last page and see you did post a link to the guarantee. This is not very good and def not insurance. The likelyhood of something genetic cropping up in under one year that is so bad the puppy dies is pretty slim. Also all they want to do is ship you another puppy. After year one if the pup dies you just get a discount to pay them 50% on another most likely similarly bred dog. Will the new pup have the same conditions? Also it says the cause of death must be certified by a vet. That means a necropsy. You would most likely have to pay for this. And I cannot bear to think of my baby being cut apart in pieces for an necropsy.
Yes your baby is adorable, BUT you paid $1600 for him. He should have bee AKC from a reputable breeder for that price. And I agree it gets annoying when people say your dog doesn't look like the breed he is. I get it all the time.
