in my opinion i just feel like not all yorkie's look the same and i know people who have yorkies with bigger ears and different hair texture etc. it just depends on how they are, i suppose i realized that I'm happy with my unique baby, whether he's purebred or not
Unfortunately, although not all Yorkies look exactly the same, there is no "unique type of Yorkie" at all. There is only "Yorkshire Terrier" and 'not Yorkshire Terrier' regardless what the mix is or when it occurred, as I understand it. If unintentional breedings occurred in the past in the lines, the offspring 'may' be registered (honestly/unknowingly or dishonestly/knowingly) as 'Yorkshire Terrier' even though they may be carrying genes from a 'not Yorkshire Terrier' breed which may/will become visible eventually.

Congratulations!!! Your baby is a cutie, and the parents look very sweet.
