You can and should have her spayed about a month after she finishes her heat. Do not rely on belly bands or panties to keep them apart. They must be separated with crating or kept in separate rooms...they can climb gates if they try and want to bad enough. The whining and pacing can make you nuts if you have a low tolerance for it. It will be virtually impossible to train that boy not to mark if you bring him into the house while she's in heat. If you get them both fixed, with luck, consistency and patience you may end up being able to train him. If not, belly bands sre a solution to the marking issue.
