My ZoE is 4 years old and she still looks black & tan. When her hair grows out, I notice more silver hairs if I look closely, but when she is shaved short, she looks all black.

My last yorkie was more of a steel blue color for most of her life, but as she got older 7-11 she turned a lot lighter
