Oh I apologiZe on the temp it was 100.6.:/. So that's in normal range I think?
Puppy was able to stand and walk last night!!!. He was up all night pretty much, but I have kept him very warm with a heating pad and also have the hot water bottle against him all the time! I fed him the supplement through the night and also water with syringe. He drank from water bowl once during the night too. He also went tee tee twice, once on me and him and once in the bathroom floor. Not taking him outside in cold air.
I will go today to get the goat milk and yogurt and some more wet food and add this in today. Should I call the breeder and get specifics about this? He did not seemed bothered by the baby leaving at all??? He gave very little info except for paper and shot/wormer record. The ER vet said to treat him as though he had not been wormed or had shots though.
Puppy is on the antibiotic so hopefully that will help to clear up stomach issues too? Kinda worried about him getting constipated, but I guess if he hasn't had anything but gu and liquid than he wouldn't need to poo??
I feel so bad for not being more informed about a pup this small? I rescued my lab mix straight from the ditch and his estimated age (according to the vet and his teeth) was 8 weeks. Totally different story here for this precious little baby. But I feel ok now with not being able to leave him overnight at the ER as he did improved with my care during the day yesterday and through the night he was very active and vocal!!. I'm just gonna keep him warmed and sugared. Apt for regular vet this week.
So anyway, I will keep everybody posted on how he improves and what his normal vet says! Also how the goat milk and yogurt works out? I have never heard of that mixture before but that's what I'm gonna get for the next 3 weeks like Wylie's mom recommended! Thank you so much for responding! I'm getting more comfortable but know he is still very critical.
