I went to the shelter about a month ago to sponsor the adoption fees of a little senior yorkie I had seen posted for several weeks. After speaking to the staff, seems many would look at her, but no one in 2 months would adopt her because of her age, 13 years old. After carefully thinking it over, I did not want her to get a home because she was free. I did not sponsor her. I thought of my sweet Tiny in the same position. So, yes, as I have often encouraged others to do, I brought her home. There would be no better gift in the memory of Tiny and the 3 seniors I lost this year. There is not a better gift to all of Tiny's Yokietalk friends than helping a little one in such a bad position that could not help herself. In all the sadness over Tiny, I hope this will give to all of you a little Christmas joy.
