I posted pictures of Lola's coat here, she's 1 year and 9 months old and her hair is nearly floor length. You can see the roots are grey and the ends are almost black, the transition between the colors is smooth. Her hair grows fast, she almost had a floor length coat at 8 months.

Lola also went from 5lbs at 6 months to 7lbs at 1 year.
