Macks hernia resulted from an exploratory surgery he had 2 years ago. Something inside didnt heal right and it slowly popped up. We left it alone for awhile but it was gradually getting larger and the vet was afraid (and I quote her exact words) that "his insides were going to fall though the opening".

That was a very scary thought so we got it fixed as soon as she said that! lol He is definitely doing much better with this surgery than his last so thats a good thing. And yes, he flops on his back and welcomes the heat! Its a funny sight...I should video it!
