As soon as the vet told me Yorkies have bad teeth I ran to the store to buy a toothbrush, lol. |
I have had great luck with sonicare and mine took to it fairly easily. Curri has regressed a little and now I have to swaddled her in her "bad baby wrap" because she kicks my hand away lol
It's important not to apply any pressure and to let the sonicare do the work. You could damage their teeth and gums by brushing too vigorously. With that being said, I've gotten the seal of approval from 3 vets as to the effectiveness. I've heard of other vets and animal dentists that do not approve. Like anything, there will be varying opinions.
Good luck!
