I purchased my yorkie at a pet store. (BIG MISTAKE!!) In the beginning I had problems with him. He was diagnosed with parasites and marked unfit for sale. I was not able to give him up, so I decided to keep him and take care of the problem. I am now arguing with the pet shop to pay me back vet bills. Anyway, almost 6 months later, I have come up with another problem... My yorkie is missing his right testicle. The vet found it in his stomach and said he will need surgery to remove it or there is a chance it can turn into a tumor. She also told me he would never be able to have kids. I am disappointed, I would have loved to have another puppy just like him. She said he had to be neutered. This was not my choice, and I am saddened. I paid $2800 for him. I received another unfit for sale, and when presenting it to the pet shop, they said they will not pay for him to be neutered. I explained that I never had intentions of neutering him, and now I had no choice. They said when I purchased him there was no guarantee I would be able to mate him. I do not know what to do. BC his testicle needs to be removed, it is a major surgery and very costly. Has anyone ever had a puppy with the same situation?? ANy help?? Does anyone know anything more than I do?
