Although I swear my yorkie now just starts barking at air. I think she is seeing my cat who just past away about a month ago. They weren't the best of friends and cats can be jerks sometimes. She used to torment my yorkie.
I'm sure it's her teasing my dog |
Lol about your cat. I have a 15 lb cat and my Remy is 2 1/2 lbs and they started off the same way. Roxy my cat did not want to have anything to do with Remy but now they are the best of friends. It's unbelievable how they play together. They look for each other, chase each other etc. Roxy was with our two mini dachshunds until the age of two and because they were much older they passed in 2011. I hesitated to get another dog because she was by herself for 3 years (hence the reason she did not take to him at first). She became a diva cat!

. However, now I think she enjoys him. As for the looking around and barking at air...Remy does the same exact thing as if he is barking at someone or something. Just out of the blue he will do it. I think it's my dad or two dachshunds coming to visit.
