An update everyone. The little brother and sister duo are leaving this weekend, to a retired couple in the Suffolk countryside. Like me, they were heartbroken at seeing the little girl clinging to her bigger brother and were thrilled to be accepted as their new 'mum and dad'. Apparently the home takes the 'adoptees' out to view the new conditions etc and the lady burst out with tears watching them eventually playing with the leaves in the garden. They're all certainly going to have a happy Xmas. My friends collect theirs tomorrow too and are busy buying toys, food etc etc. Hopefully a new friend for Crystal, whose only close friend is the ground floor neighbor's cat, with whom she has a very happy relationship. I'm pleased for the cat too, as the poor creature gets left out, as her owners work in London and we bring her up here most days, for a snooze with her 'Highness', until her owner gets home.
