Hi YT! I posted in the pix about our new 15-week old little boy named Witten. We picked him up from Deb yesterday and he was every bit worth the wait- just the sweetest little thing. Already following me everywhere, loves to snuggle... We're working on the kisses, but it's only been a day so...
I have some questions- I know this should prolly be in the training section, but figured I'd condense it all in on thread here.
First, Billi is a bit, um, "upset" that she has a little brother. She barks and growls at him, jumps at him and runs away. Weird thing is that sometime's she's shaking her tail when she does this. You can tell she wants to play, but is jealous and confused. What can I do to help her while still being loving with Witten? How long does it take for them to get used to babies? Deb said around 2 weeks, but I want someone to tell me it'll be sooner
Peeing: He will use his pad in his pen if I leave him in there for a few hours. If I let him out and try to train him at all, he will stop and pee where ever he is. With Billi I could pick her up in the middle of the act and move her and she'd stop peeing. Witten does not. I don't want my hands covered in pee anymore, what do I do?
Yelping: After finally getting my step-daughters insane Pom out of the house, it seems our new pup is a yelper. I know some is to be expected since it's a new home and he was lonely last night. But when I left him alone earlier today, he screamed while I was leaving, screamed as I was getting home (which leads me to believe he was screaming the whole time I was gone

) and made a mess of his pen. What can I do to nip this in the bud? We absolutely can't have him growing up to have this behavior- I got a calming diffuser for him and we will resort to training, but what else can we do to discourage that behavior?
Thanks so much for all the great help, here's a pic of our lil prince with Billi on their ride home
