I have two friends that are heavy into agility and obedience with their dogs. One is a golden and the other is an Afghan. The lady that owns the Afghan is a vet herself. They both take their dogs to a vet that is also licensed in acupuncture. My two friends swear by acupuncture. They both say their dogs fall asleep during the treatments.
Do your homework and find someone that is qualified and not someone that has taken a course or two and claim they are qualified. (I have a groomer in my area that makes this claim by calling herself an animal masseuse (sp).
