I had only girls, all 3 years apart, first 2 not spayed, 3rd one spayed, never any fight all got along, showed no jealousy except when it came time to sit on me or next to me, so I assigned them spots, who laid to the right of me, one to the left and the baby had my lap, this went well. I never had a male and female. Never had a male until I adopted lil Cody last Nov. 2013. My family and friends had male dogs, what they told me was UN-nuerted males fight for dominance. I believe if the male is nurtured the aggression will lesion or stopped completely. It is always better to nurture and spay early before aggression starts. Since the pap and yorkie get into these head butts, fixing them at this point may not work, they are use to the head butting. I would think at this point it's the roll of the dice. Nurturing, spaying is a must for the health of both sexes if they are not to be used for breeding.
