My vet does accupuncture....she goes all over the USA, teaching clinics how to do accupuncture on pets. She did accupuncture on those little babies I had many years ago that had gotten parvo....we threw everything at them but the kitchen sink.....the accupuncture was done to fortify their immune system....I only lost one of those babies, as deathly ill as they were, so if I had a pet that I could not get pain relief for, I would certainly try it.....I know it did work on a friends horse that had an injury to shoulder/withers area, and accupuncture helped pain in that area, both as the horse healed, and later in life when arthritis apparently became an issue in that left front shoulder.
