Yorkies are not for everyone but they are such a fad right now and breeders are turning them out by the thousands because of the market. Few new pet owners understand how to train a regular dog much less a Yorkie. Terriers have their own personality issues plus the Yorkie has all that hair to deal with. Not a breed for people who have no sense of responsibility.
I wish this small dog craze would go away. So many small dog breeds are suffering because of it. People who have never has a dog buy them because they think a small dog means less work. Not!
