I would like to know what everyone does for their dental care routine? I have been searching around YorkieTalk and have seen that some people use Sonicare, OraVet or HealthyMouth. If I add a Sonicare instead of a regular toothbrush and a product like OraVet or HealthyMouth, would that be a better routine than only brushing her teeth with the CET? Also, is it recommended to brush 2x a day or is 1x enough like I have been doing?

She hasn't had a real dental at the Vet office yet because I'm really scared about anesthesia for her so I'm hoping if I add something in her dental routine that her teeth will improve. My vet did say that her teeth are fine, though.. I just want to improve my dental at-home routine.

I know it is largely genetic. Some dogs you could brush 5 times a day and still have bad teeth. Just like humans, you could take great care of your teeth and still get cavities, but of course, taking good care of them will also reduce other issues. I brush every day and also they chew on CET chews. Mine are still young so only time will tell how their teeth will hold up.
