Hi my name is Chris and I just got my first Yorkie a few weeks ago. Jellybean is 13 weeks old today. I am head-over-heals in love with my lil fella! I hope to bring in another fur sibling for him when he is done with his immunizations.
I am learning a lot about his small breed. Completely different than all the other larger breeds and I have had or fostered throughout my life. I think the first week I was extremely grateful that my vet was on speed dial. lol
We just had a scare while I was typing this. He seemed to choke on his food. He still isn't quite right yet. I took his food away and after a couple minutes gave him a drink. Now he is resting next to me. Goodness, I almost broke my computer running over to him by tripping on the cord. Whew.
Anyway, he is growing so fast and is just adorable. I think from now on I will refer to the era's in my life as Pre-Yorkie and Post-Yorkie.
