I am sure you will find some good information here. For lilah we have baby gates limiting her run of the house and have to keep her potty pad very clean if we expect her to use it, she stayed in her ex pen when I was gone at least til he was over a year. Lilah still does not understand that rugs are not potty pads and maybe she never will so we don't keep area rugs around. Good luck with your endeavor!
