Please be super careful with the steroids. I adopted a perfect little Yorkie who had pollen and food allergies. The vet that her original owners used gave her too many steroids and she became a type 2 diabetic because of the over use of steroids that damaged her ability to make insulin.
She was Zoee (photo with orange ball in mouth) and we had 5 wonderful years with her, but she died of a seizure due to low blood sugar. She was the little Yorkie that made us love little Yorkies.
