Yes it is sad that he is having issues....skin problems are the worst. Honestly unless there was an added supplement in the science diet (ie for sensitive skin, etc) the basic ingredients aren't that much different. The price really is not that much difference either....I just looked at petco and the difference is barely 11 cents more a pound for SD than iams. I know at times cost can be a concern but if he did better on the SD it may be worth suggesting to them to check at the local pet store rather than buying from the vet? I'm thankful my dogs have done well on it because winnies food struggle has been a real PITA and was very upsetting. |
