I use at least 2 different treats at a time in obediance training- a low value treat for commands they know and high value treats when teaching them something new or when the commands are more demanding.
Right now I'm using Charlee Bears for low value treats... a little messy when I break them apart but not a problem for us because we train outdoors. They're like little oyster crackers you put in your soup and about 3 calories each. For high value treats I've been using Orijen freeze dry treats. They are a little pricey but one goes a long way because they're semi soft and easy to break/pinch apart. We have tried the duck, bison and tundra- elk, trout and quail.
