For combing out legs, I use the clips that hairstylists use to separate hair segments when they are cutting human hair, the ones that slide in and out easily and clamp. I use them to hold the 'skirt' hair and beards out of the way to make it easier to get at the leg hair.
Max and Teddy are pretty good about standing on the counter while I groom them. After a bath and zoomies, they are sleepy and tend to sit or lie down more so I have to coax them to stand. A grooming table is nice, but I don't think the loop is necessary. For me, I think it would be dangerous. |
My groomer told me not to put around the neck area. Instead we put it where a harness would go. I think that makes it better. |
