Dogs will also go after the weaker dogs. Dont know why. I know birds will kill another bird that is weak. Least mother birds will do this. Dogs attacking the weak i have no idea why. I would becareful letting them out alone. The pack will joinin. Was the poodle an alpha dog? Maybe your yorky is trying to asume the top position in the pack.

I do believe dogs communicate. We took our yorky and papilon to the park. My pap. Lunges after other dogs. Boo played with all the dogs while we held the pap back. When we got home the pap was real rough with the yorky. Almost punishing boo for playing with the other dogs. Next trip to the park boo acted like the pap and has ever since.
