I'm going to have disagree with my fellow YTers here. A lot of my fosters have been picky about food. They can go for at least a day or so with not eating. Usually we give in before they are so hungry they will eat whatever.

Now the soft poop does worry me, BUT that could just be from stress. Did you adopt this pup from a reputable rescue? Or just someone who call themselves a rescue? It happens more often than I'd like to think.

As far as the belly band. Just take him outside often. Every hour or so, and lengthen the time you take him outside. My Toto was SO bad at marking when we first got him. He's now pretty good, but he doesn't tell me when he needs to go outside. Unless you put a "heavy flow" maxi pad in the belly band, it won't soak up enough if he pees inside. It's meant to only soak up a small mark.
