I have a pure bred silky yorky. He is eight months old. He has a soft long hair on top. His back as it grows out is softer near the base of his hair but towards the ends its thiner and more wirey. I think as they get older it gets better. But not sure about morkies.
I brush boo's hair and soon as i put him down he shakes and its a mess all over. Especially where its different lengths. The breeder gave him a summercut. Im letting it grow out. His sister is half his size and length and is pure silver grey body with blonde top. Boo is blonde on top. Then gold brown around face hes beginning to show the silver grey coming out on his back. I even tried a cream rinse panteen. Hope i got the right kind. A little softer but didnt help tame his shaggy dog hair. So figure it will get better as he ages. |
