Lilah charm also barks very emphatically when my love gets home- she would bark until he would pick her up and he felt used
so he started having her do a trick for him before he would pick her up. The act of her complying to obedience took her away from the barking and then she had the opportunity to be successful and be rewarded- yay!
however, my little lady is still very very pushy with my man- shovin her head ad face into his hand when she sees it for example- not so much with me (even though we have an excellent bond and I am totally mama) but I also have five lovely children and am already very disinclined to reward negative or pushy behavior (even if it's cute) with my attention. Lol, so a different relationship I suppose...she does get in my business when I am excercising in the early mornings but after a bit she will usually settle in next to me and just chew on a toy.
