Hello, my name is Jim. My wife and I got our first Yorkie in May and she is 9 months old, her name is Sophie and weighs less than 5 pounds. Seventeen years ago our poodle Misty passed after being a family member for over sixteen years. I still grieve and had a hard time getting another (hate to use the word dog) pet. Sophie has brought so much joy to my wife and me that I now see that it was years wasted. We are both now in our twilight years an there are no do overs, so I urge any one to not wait too long before getting another pet, it will never replace what you lost, but will bring a new light to your life, Jim. |
