I feed both of my pups Wellness. I have done a lot of research after having issues with one of my pups eating BB. As far as recalls, I think it's impossible to find a company with NO recalls, but some definitely have more than others. I also look for complaints, which again, impossible to find any one with NO complaints. Overall, I found that Wellness is a well respected food with less complaints/recalls than many other food companies. The downside, of course, it that it is pricey especially if you buy the grain free.
