I read an article recently about a similar behavior. It was on begging and that it was actually ingrained into their instinct over the time with mankind. The more pathetic they looked/acted the more food they got. It became a passive "hunting" skill :P Kimchi is a masterful beggar and uses all sort of tones, looks and such to get what she wants. The only thing I can figure to do in this case is train her to be quiet on command. ^^;
