I think sometimes it's easier to already have a cat and bring a dog in than vice versa, but I guess it depends on the dog. But I know with Jackson, who is pretty prey-driven as a lot of terriers are, is fine with my dads cats who were here before him, but I'm not sure how great he would be adding a new cat now.

I also wouldn't recommend declawing a cat. Many vets won't even do it anymore; it's kind of cruel. Most Bengal breeders likely wouldn't let you do it anyway.

It's good to know vets refuse declawing.
