 red bumps/lesions on tongue
My 1.5 year old yorkie suddenly got these red bumps on his tongue. They look a bit like small lesions, but when I touch them I can feel that they are raised. I'm not sure what they could be from - he gets human food occasionally but he's never reacted badly before and I don't recall giving him anything that he hasn't had before. I sent the pictures to my breeder who told me it looked like burning (but he hasn't eaten been in contact with anything that would do that). She recommended that I wait it out to see if it gets worse, but they seem to be more inflamed today.
He doesn't have any other symptoms, and is eating and drinking normally.
Has anyone ever seen anything like this before? Should I take him to the vet right away or wait it out? |
